Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of pawfectmatch.store ("Pawfect Match"), operated by [Your full legal name or business name], [City], Ontario, Canada. By using the site or submitting a form, you agree to them.
1. Early access
Pawfect Match is not fully launched yet. Profiles currently shown on the site are examples. Submitting a form adds you to our early-access or founding-owner list. It doesn't create an account or guarantee a listing or a match.
2. Who can use Pawfect Match
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You may only list a dog you own or are legally authorised to represent.
3. Listing rules
- Dogs must be at least 18 months old and in good health.
- Information about your dog, including health testing and pedigree, must be accurate and honest.
- Pawfect Match is for arranging matches between owners. You may not use it to sell or advertise puppies or dogs.
- You're responsible for following all laws that apply to you, including local rules on breeding, licensing, and animal welfare.
- We may decline, edit, or remove any listing at our discretion.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and text you send us. You give us permission to store, display, resize, and use them to operate and promote Pawfect Match, for as long as your listing is active. Only send photos you took or have the right to share.
5. Fees
Listing and browsing are free during early access. After launch, unlocking a private chat with another owner is planned to cost a one-time fee, shown clearly before you pay. We'll publish full payment and refund terms before we charge anything.
6. Meeting other owners
Pawfect Match helps owners find each other. We aren't a party to any agreement between owners and don't guarantee the health, pedigree, temperament, or fertility of any dog, or the outcome of any mating. Meet in a public place first, check documents yourself, and agree terms in writing. You're responsible for your own decisions and for the care of your dog.
7. Acceptable use
Don't harass other users, post false information, scrape the site, attempt to get around our privacy protections, or use Pawfect Match for anything illegal.
8. Limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything arising from dealings between owners. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.
9. Changes and ending
We may update these terms as Pawfect Match grows. We'll change the date above and notify early-access members of important changes. You can stop using the site and ask us to delete your information at any time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
